Study Hall: Students are easing into the idea of study hall, and they appreciate the time to complete work and study.

Good News! Mrs. Carlson returned to work yesterday! We are so glad to have her back.

Chess Team: We had a great turnout also for our Chess Team. Thank you to ————- for her time and expertise!

Mrs. Ludwig is doing well after her major dental

surgery last week. She will  return on October 22nd.  Jeannette Mitchell will teach Music for the next two Mondays.

Prayers:  Please keep Father Jim and his group in your prayers as they travel to Israel.

Auction changes: Last week, ——-

resigned as Auction chair for personal reasons. We thank Peggy for her time spent on the auction.

Moving forward, this year’s auction will be chaired by a committee of our PTO co-presidents, ———, and past president,  ———. With the volunteer efforts and  support of the school community, the auction will continue to be a fun filled event.

We would like to acknowledge the following students who are serving Mass on 10/6 and 10/7:

Volunteer Hours Web-form

The new Volunteer service hours web-form is now available at http://www.saintbrendan.org/schoolhours/.  It can also be found by going to the main school page, clicking the get involved menu and selecting the report service hours link. An account must be created before hours can be entered. Any hours that have been turned in on paper will not be added to the system until later but parents can add them to the online system as well if they still have them. If you have any problems or questions, please contact the school office.

  Basketball Sign-up

Soccer is almost over and basketball will be beginning soon in November.  Registrations to play basketball at St Brendan from 4th through 8th grade need to be

completed and received by October 20th.  You can find these forms on the St. Brendan website.  If you are interested in coaching, please contact the school office .

The kindergarten through 3rd grade program will be at the YMCA.  We have designated spots for our teams.  There will be YMCA forms at the CYO table in the foyer of the school.  If you have any further questions regarding the K-3 program, please contact
