Principal News                                       School Bulletin: September 5, 2007

  1. After the first week, our school bulletin will be sent via email to all school families each Wednesday. If you need a hard copy sent home, please advise Julie Milner at bulletin@saintbrendan.org. We will save 1,800 sheets of paper each week (over 65,000 copies a year) by not sending home hard copies! The bulletin is posted to the school’s website each week. Please take time to read the information in each bulletin.
  2. The Wednesday envelope will be sent home each week with other important items.
  3. All parents and visitors must sign in at the office and fill out a visitor label for identification. When leaving, please sign out. This is important when we have fire, lockdown, or earthquake drills so we can account for all adults in the building.

4.   Please turn in your Emergency Card to the office as soon as possible.

  1. Immunizations: Parents have reviewed our student immunization records. They contacted many parents to provide updated information. State law requires each child attending school have immunizations. If you were called to update your child’s record, please turn that information into the office on or before Thursday, September 6th.  Any student without correct records will not be allowed to attend school.
  2. Parenting Custody Plans: Parents are required to provide updates or court order changes to their current parenting plans. Please be sure I have current information.

Teachers and our PTO Co-Presidents shared readings with the assembly. I welcomed 13 new families and two new teachers- Mrs. Riley, our 7th grade homeroom and Math teacher and Mrs. Christianson, our new 8th grade teacher. Welcome, welcome, welcome….
