What

A 3-Ring Binder

Everything students and parents need is in it

It is designed to prevent wrinkled papers in the bottom of desks and backpacks.

It helps to avoid lost papers, assignments, and lists.

Assignment books are kept in the binder

Why It is called a W.O.L.F binder because the acronym stands for             Wonderfully Organized Learning Folders

Teaches organizational skills

Promotes and organizes communication between school and home.

What Take Care of it, it needs to last all year

Check every section each school night

Clear out old stuff (NOTE: Students should always check if not sure whether to keep or throw something away)

Take it home daily. Bring it back to school daily.

Keep it clean

Show the binder to parent/guardian every night. They will be impressed with your organizational skills. And how responsible you are!

What

The binder is set up in a specific manner. Follow the guidelines for how to organize it for the first day of school. (Pictures are provided  of each item-they do not need to be exact but comparable)

1 2" VIEW BINDER (Insert with student name will be provided on first day)

Pencil pouch: Students should have 2 sharpened pencils daily

Dividers: Label as follows:

Tab 1: Home/School Communication

Tab 2: Conduct Chart

Tab 3: Reading Log

Tab 4: Religion

Tab 5: Math

Tab 6 Spelling

Tab 7 Completed Work

Tab 8: leave blank
