Dear Fourth Grade Families,

Happy Catholic Schools Week and a special note of appreciation for all that you so generously do to support your students and our parish school.  We have several special events planned as part of our celebration this week.

Tuesday – Free dress, student lunch treat, and no homework day

Wednesday – Free dress, Malawi assembly with Fr. Montfort, 2:00

Thursday – Free dress, 8:30 Mass in the chapel, “All School Lunch” 12:45

Friday – School Mass, 9:00, uniform day, noon dismissal           I

In addition to these special events, we will also complete our second week of daily keyboarding practice in the computer lab.  Our goal is to jump-start progress in keyboarding skills with daily drill and practice.  Your students are enjoying their extra computer time and making good progress.  I would also like to congratulate your students on their excellent work on the Martin Luther King Jr. unit in Social Studies.  I was impressed with their high interest level and understanding of the material we read together.  This week we will be back in the science lab to begin our work on Magnetism and electricity.  Your students should be able to re-wire your homes in about a month from now!

Have a wonderful week and I hope to see you during some of our Catholic Schools Week activities.
