A warm welcome to all of my new Fourth Grade students and their families.  The Fourth Graders began their first week of school with energy, enthusiasm, and wonderful positive attitudes.

Our focus this week is on organizational and study skills.  We are working on consistent use of our binder files as a tool for keeping track of class and homework as it is completed and turned in. We end our school days with careful entries in our assignment books that are checked by our study partners.

Unit one of our Religion program begins with a look at Good’s goodness and the wonders of His creation.  We read about Saint Thomas Aquinas, the patron saint of schools and students, and the environmental writings of Rachel Carson.

Dates:  Social Studies map test – Wednesday

                      Spelling test – Friday

                      Curriculum Night – this Friday

Daily Mass – Thursday, September 20th

I thank you for your support.
