Dear Fourth Grade Families,

Do not be suspicious of any Fourth Grade student who claims that we have no Spelling test this week. There will not be assigned spelling words or spelling workbook pages. We will be taking this short week to focus on the Six Traits writing process in Language Arts. We will be sharpening our spelling skills when we self and peer-edit the rough drafts of our realistic fiction projects.

The Fourth Grade will begin their Steps to Respect program this week as part of our Religion program. Our focus this week will be on respect for others and friendship making skills. Please look for the parent letter about

family participation in the Steps to Respect program that will be coming home with your student.

Dates: Plural noun test on Wednesday

No school on Friday. Teachers will be attending an

Catechetical update workshop provided by the

Archdiocese of Seattle.
