Dear Fourth Grade Families,

I hope that you all enjoyed your Friday off last week. The Fourth graders seemed ready for a day of R & R. A break from packing lunches and driving carpool was probably also very welcome.

This week our class will be attending the all-school Mass on Thursday, at 9:00. Each student will be attending Mass with his or her cross-age family. We will be reviewing and practicing the mass liturgy responses and music this week. Mrs. Lunn will be visiting our classroom to help us focus on the reverence and respect we all need to show while celebrating liturgies.

Tests this week:

1. Social Studies: 5 sub-regions of Washington; 1. Coastal

2. Western Lowlands 3. Cascade Mountains 4. Columbia

Plateau 5. Okanogan Highlands, Wednesday

2. Math: Chapter two test, Wednesday

3. Spelling: Lesson Five, Friday

Beginning next week, each student will be researching and writing about

their patron saint. Would you please help your student enter the name of their patron saint in the “Religion” space of their assignment book. A favorite family saint may be used if your child’s name has no patron saint. Thank you for your help.
