Dear Fourth Grade Families,

Blessings to you all as we begin our Advent journey together. We will begin each Monday morning at 9:00, with an Advent prayer service in the gym. Our Religion program will focus on the liturgies and traditions of Advent. Once a week, each student will write a note recalling where they have “found” Jesus during the week. They might note the kindness of a friend, the generosity shown to those in need, the love of a brother or sister, the hug of a grandparent, or the patience of their parents. All notes will be attached to our five foot tall Advent shepherd who will hang in the church narthex for parishioners to share.

Our first trimester of work will end this Friday. Reminders:

· All home reading slips for this trimester are due by Friday.

· Social Studies test on Friday

· Math Chapter test on Friday
