I hope you all enjoyed the annual auction!  Thank you so much for your support.

In 7th grade World History, we have begun reading The Slavedancer, a novel by Paula Fox.  This is the first time these students have used an historical fiction novel as part of their history or social studies curriculum.  The purpose of reading the novel is to allow the kids to experience the slave trade period in world history in a more personal way.

The sea trade tables and vessel vocabulary are due Thursday, March 6.  There will not be more class time devoted to completing this project.

Have a great week!!

Math:  This week the students will be working on the following:

·        Subtracting mixed numbers

·        Writing equations with fractions

·        Multiplying fractions and mixed numbers

They will have their weekly quiz on Thursday.
