5th grade
This week we will be concluding our detailed study of the insect’s anatomy. We continue to observe our Tenebrio Habitats, watching as our larvae turn into pupae. We are still waiting for adults to emerge in the habitat, hoping they come before Easter break.
6th grade
This week we will be conducting experiments and making observations of achieved motion through different levels of force related to an objects mass. We will be observing ramps of various inclinations combined with various amounts of mass.
7th grade
This week we have our assessment of the unit on processes of the earth. The assessment will be in the form a written test this Thursday. We will spend the bulk of this week reviewing and preparing for the exam.
8th grade
This week we will begin our next dissection; the squid. We will be looking at the anatomy of the squid, focusing upon its highly developed nervous system.
