5^th grade

This week we are beginning our next unit of study: recycling. This week we will focus on a definition of terms and broad ideas surrounding recycling, decomposition, and pollution by both humans and natural processes.

6^th grade

This week we will be continuing to work on our Constellation Research Project. The project is due Tuesday of next week. We will also be looking at spacecraft and how space technology assists us in studying the outer reaches of our solar system.

7^th grade

This week we will be studying dichotomous keys and how they are used in identification. We will be using this identification system to identify various rocks and minerals.

8^th grade

This week we begin our Mars Alpha unit of study. In teams, we will be designing, developing, and creating a habitat capable of sustaining a colony of 30 people on Mars for a period of no less than 2 years.
