5^th grade

This week we will discuss and explore the role of the primary consumers in the food cycle through observation and exploration of small mammals: mice. We will follow this by expanding our look at the food cycle and explore predator prey relationships found in the ocean.

6^th grade

This week we will be expanding our discussion of arthropods, mollusks, and echinoderms, into all invertebrates. We will be working out of our text, referencing all of chapter 4. We will begin a lab exploring the growth rate and environmental factors of crustaceans.

7^th grade

We have our planet presentations this Wednesday, the students have been working hard at researching the information about their assigned planets as well as preparing their visual aids.

8^th grade

This week we will begin using the microscopes as tools in research. We will also be concluding our radish growth lab on Thursday and discussing plant cellular growth and development.
