This week we are continuing our study of the world’s oceans and seas. We will be discussing aspects of the water cycle and watersheds. We will have an Ocean assessment on Tuesday of next week.
6th grade:
This week we are continuing our study of the taxonomy of plants. We will be comparing and contrasting the adaptations of plant life to both animal and fungi. This is leading into a study of Darwin and his theories on evolution.
7th grade:
We are building up to our field trip on Thursday through a study of the moon.
8th grade:
This week we will be exploring the idea of dynamic and static equilibrium. This will lead us into the importance of the semi-permeable cell membrane and passive transport of material into and out of the cell.
